Welly well well, what a weekend.

Last weekend we hit the road and went drivin' south playing shows in Mt Beauty and Albury.

For some reason I looked up the weather forcast, read that it said 'hot' ... and still managed to pack for 'cold'. Yep sweaty and stinky were both me ... usually it's only one of the two.

On the way down we stopped at Holbrook which has a big submarine in the ground ... see ...

One of us hurt himself with stuffed chillies - three was enough ... there were tears.

The stand out moment from the Mt Beauty gig was at the end of the second set when we let 'em know we'd be back after a short break, four dudes at the bar just randomly broke into the refrain from 'Slice of Heaven' .. you know ... "da da da, boom boom, da da da" ... so random!

That was Friday night.

Saturday morning saw the Mt Beauty markets come to life - we partook in breakfast sausage sizzle (tops!) ... see ...

At this point I should mention how beautiful Mt Beauty really is. Just so pretty.

The gigs in Albury also went well. Saturday night was notable for taking the concept of audience participation to a whole new level.

Sunday Morning found us sleeping in beyond the official breakfast time so we had to go into town in Albury in search of food ... and what food we found!

We stumbled upon a great cafe called:

Great eggs ... great coffee ... great service ... yay!

The Sunday was a blast - we played our first acoustic set, debuting several new songs which went down well in the early afternoon. Later on we plugged in and turned up and at one point had a jam with the absolutely wonderful Sharyn B who not only booked all the gigs for us, but blew us off the stage with that fantastic voice of hers.

Sharyn - thank you for all your help in making the weekend happen; and thank you to David on sound as well.

Nuff for now.

Rosie
