What are the boys doing following the Lonely Few's DDJ to his secret lair?

You know, the marketing department has told me to shut the hell up and concentrate on SC2, but as I dont have anything to do until the boys finish the current bits, I am doing my research for our subsequent project (SC3)

This research took me to the secret lair of DDJ, who's work with the Lonely Few has been truly inspirational.

Here's a link to his myspace page, where you can read all about his adventures in Analogue Land and the crazy stuff he's been putting together: http://www.myspace.com/thelonelyfew

I was honored to be given a copy of 'The Chef Who Wants To Die - parts I & II',  plus we were treated to a thrash of the current reel to reel.

I have to say, I have complete respect for DDJ, who doesnt necesarly consider himself an artist. Ok, he does, but he claims to be Australias Worst Blues Musician. The stuff that he is doing with the Lonely Few is waaay out there, and when you're on the edge like that, it commands respect, demands respect (Or they'll eat your handbag.)

DDJ has assembled a collection of random Vintage Analogue gear from Ebay that boggle the mind and may cause hallunication on playback, then locked the Lonely Few in a secret location and produced a Cassingle.

There's something compelling, if terrifying, about Chef Who Wants To Die Part 1 and 2 - part one brings to mind Floyd/Zappa/BOC (whats ascii for umlaut?) plus the unique DDJ viewpoint. Part 2? Well. Its just plain scary. The art is drawn, the tape hand made. I think its so handcrafted you could extract DNA from it.

Even though he thinks of it in a tongue-in-cheek fashion, i think DDJ truly is producing interesting sounds with artistic merit. There. I said it. The recording still freaks me out, but whoah. there's just something about it.

What rough beast lurches towards Bethlehem, waiting to be born? (Scariest quotation I could think of to accompany this equally scary original piece of spacejunk).

The countdown for own first launch attempt for a spacejunk project is now: 7 Days and Counting.

Ohh soo mysterious...oooo....the suspense....oooh. Meh.

:-)
