Ah yes, hard at work, nose to the grindstone. Here's an Art piece entitled 'Mr Wizard with Mandolin and PC's' :-)

It's at times like these that you appreciate having connections with the IT Mafia. Each time I switch on the borrowed laptop I bless our dear friend Monte, as this device is making our lives a heck of a lot easier.

With the TASCAM US1800, free cubase (it came with the TASCAM) and Monte's Laptop, we've been able to record and develop the new material with even more Geeky Goodness than our previous Nerdalicious methods (wav recordings, using an iphone etc). With separation between instrument/vox, it has allowed me to run multiple vocal approaches and even try harmony arrangements. 

It has also allowed Mr Wizard to try doubling his Mandolin and add bass lines and solos. Having immediate access to track by track recording has proven an invaluable aid in Song Development, so score one for modern technology!  Once again, we are only able to do this stuff thanks to the bags of help we get from so many folks.
