No pics. 2 good gigs. Many small mishaps. To quote Neil Finn, my posessions are causing me suspicion, but there's no proof...Read on for the text adventures from the weekend.
Car drivers side door broke on the way to pick up the Drums. I  had to spend the weekend doing the Dukes of Hazard to get in and out of the car.  Try unloading the car after you have to break dance past the steering wheel.

Turned out (today) it was a small 20c piece of plastic that occasioned so much nuisance.

Right. Oh, then there's the GPS that seems to think Toll Roads and Circles are the way to go.

Our 15 minute trip out to Wentworthville turned into a 2 hour Odyssey, courtesy of breakdowns, football matches and the universes sense of humour, not to mention the GPS that seemed to be set to 'drunken passenger giving bad directions'. Was it raining in Space? The unit tried valiantly to locate the satellites and eventually gave up, sending us round in circles to try and get on the M4.

Wentworthville was a good gig. Backstage, the fog machine had gone berserk leaving the change rooms one Howl Away from a sherlock holmes mystery.

Cheers to Michelle, thanks for the sound Dave, it was great. Finish the gig, limbo back into the car, rinse and repeat. Great fun.

Sunday at the T&T was cold, drizzly, but still a good time.

Roger, I am so sorry I cannot persuade the boys to do The Thrill Is Gone. I tried valiantly but they refused. I know they have done it before. I cannot fathom it myself. I will continue trying.

Managed to try and destroy my pointer finger lugging drums afterwards. Oh God Of Roadies, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me? Ice pack. Limbo in car. Playing the music is the EASY bit!

So many tiny teeny weeny little logistical things went wrong that I had to sit back and laugh. It was my turn in the barrel this weekend.

I am inclined to hide in a cave in case any more fun stuff happens, but unfortunately it looks like more recording on SC2 tomorrow, plus all the preparations for the next bunch of stuff coming up.

Ye Gods.
