It's been way too hot. Crazy-you've-got-to-be-kidding-me hot. Yikes. And what do you do when its over the top hot? Go to the pub!

The Kent in Hamilton.

Friday night at the Rag and Famish went off, as did Sunday at the Kent. As the heat dropped, people came out to get down.

My cam was set to Crap Lighting so I missed out on getting much in the way of footage this weekend (sigh) but a terrific night was had on Friday and also on Sunday. A shout to to Nigel, Geoff, Melva, Fred and Rod on Friday and to Adam and Joe on Sunday!

ALso I have to spend a special huge thanks to MJ and Vikki for the Macgyver repairs on my Chromatic Harmonica (check the pic, no, thats not a repair, I've Pimped My Harp).

Vikki kindly used wood and copper to fix a two milimetre piece of plastic problem I had with my Uber Sophistcated looking Chromatic Harp - you know, when a teeny tiny little piece of plastic breaks and the guts of your instrument fall out. Oh. I just realised how that sounded. Honestly, its about the harp. the metal plate at the front of this hohner keeps the comb in. When the plate breaks out from the previously mentioned teeny tiny little bit of plastic there to secure it, everything else goes with it and its not a pretty sight.

Lukcily for me, the handiest person I know took a bit of wood, some copper wire and voila!  We Have The Technology, We Can Rebuild You! Just watch the pointy end....Thanks V!!!!
