Mal flew to San Franciso on Monday afternoon in order to say goodbye to his good friend Leroy.

Christ, I hope I get that right. Mal talked about him often but he never spelled the name for me...

Mal was hoping to take the band over there to play with him some time in the future.

Lerock (as Mal called him) was battling cancer and unfortunately passed away before Mal even

got on the plane,

but I dont think the news reached Mal until he touched down in the USA, last night our time.

Leroc was a musician too, so I am sure he understood Mal wanted to get through the weekends gigs

before he flew over.

Our thoughts are with Leroc, his friends and family and Mal, in particular.

When I get some accurate details, I'll post them up here.
