Our erstwhile "manager" Roger gave an interview for his record label today after learning about Nuevo Retro hitting the US charts. The guys at Waterleef were kind enough to send a snippet from their conversation:

Office: Roger, Stormcellar is on the charts in the US.

Roger: Dinnit I tell ya never to call me on this number? What if the wife finds out?

Office: Roger, its me, from the office.

Roger: Oh. Right. Um, right, yeah, luvely jubbly. I sent the cheque last week. I'm sure it will get there soon.

Office: Err, no Roger, I think you're confusing me with someone else, I rang to let you know your artist 'Stormcellar' is on the charts..

Roger: What are you ringing me with that for? I know they were on the charts, that bloody album was still on the charts at #23 in March after a bloody year..

Office: Ah no, that was the Australian Chart. They've just entered at #50 on...

Roger: What re you banging on about now? They were #7 in April.

Office: Um, no, that was Carl's Chair, the other album they released last year. They were on the chart at #7 and #23 at the same time with two different albu...

Roger: So what are you going on about $50 for? I told you I already paid.

Office: Please Roger, listen carefully, I will say it rea-lly slow-ly. 'Nu-evo Re-tro just entered the Charts at Number 50

Roger: You already flippin told me

Office: (losing patience) THE UNITED STATES you twit, the National Blues Charts, in AMERICA.

Roger: (silence) Oh. Thats colossal, innit. Tell the boys I sent me love, oops, looks like I'm outta credit again. (LOUD CLICK).
