The first 'official' release of one of our new singles is confirmed, I checked itunes and the little sucker is up there. Yep, if you haven't downloaded it for free here and want to pay for it, go right ahead, we won't stop you.
Gotta say, I had that song playing in repeat mode for a while.
Sweet Adeline should already be online but it's not back from the mastering, so the releases are out of sequence. Oh well.
Wade in the water
You never know where you’re going to find the next bit of music that stirs you. Sometimes it’s from a friend, sometimes from the radio or TV, and sometimes from a film.
I finally got around to watching Cadillac Records recently. At some point in the film the song Wade in the Water appears and has been stuck in my head ever since.
One of the best things about iTunes is the ability to search by a song title and listen to a stack of different versions of it. I found a couple of versions of this song that floated my boat. But this one makes me shiver. It’s sung by Judy Henske, recorded in 1963. Here’s a clip:

What's this you say? It's part of something for the next videoclip. Once again I am thankful for the assistance of my more practical friends. I am blessed with several handy mates and Sam sorted this technical challenge with aplomb and considerably less grease than when I attempted a solution with a bicycle chain and small cog.
Yep, some tape, a piece of string and some bike bits and we're almost at Wall-E stage :-)

It's up there, somewhere at the top of the screen.
This is it in Bigness.
ok, so it's geek thing :-) but it makes me happy.
Cheers to Dan Sexton and Rio for joining us last night as guests and a shout out to Frank and Mika.
