And yet....what else may be percolating...hmmmm
And yet....what else may be percolating...hmmmm
I havent put any of the gigs up on the main page recently cos COVID.
The situation is highly variable.
I cannot confirm any show at the moment, including this Sunday's show for the Sydney Blues Society.
For some reason, I am pretty chill about it. Yes we were really (really) looking forward to the shows.
and yet - Pandemic, right?
We knew this was/will be the thing from now until whenever. It be how it do.
It's a very weird reality, this timeline.
Meanwhile....New Songs!
Also, uploading and sending the new album out needs attention. There are things to do. If we can't do what we were planning, we will cheerfully do something else.
Stay tuned, here or on socials. When I know what's what I'll post it.
Just did the upload, album will be out there shortly. Will take a few days for some online retailers. A little longer for others.
Will probably make a short run, limited CD's...do we even do those anymore?
Tremendous respect to Theo and MC Coggers for getting this done.
Studio album still in production too.
Holy cow. While I was away, Theo & Michael Coggins finished the first Downtime Live Album.
Wow.
Big ups to Ben for mastering.
Not online yet. Well blow me down.
Guess we'd better crack on with the studio album.
Big ups to FOTB Dion, Kamaia, Marika and all the folks in Lismore who put us up. Long story, longer drive.
Special shout out to Dave Wray for graciously letting me sit in on a gig on Sunday.
Additional shout outs to Wendy H for allowing us the use of her place to film in.
A big shout out to Alan H, our engineer from Spacejunk and long time film mentor. A heck of a story. rest first. Talk later. Downtime Season 3 wont be starting for a few weeks, new gigs out in public, Downtime Album pretty much finished, other album in progress. Nap time.
This whole show. It's chaos.
