MJEB's All Colours Blues Blog Part 10 - KCMO
Busy time off screen. Waiting for the audio transfer system to process Rock River.
In the interim it's back to El Bloggo. For newbies: comments pics and then some vids. For reg'lar 'cellar dwellers, you know the drill.
Day 15 (Continued) into Day 16
We arrived in KC and wound up at the Ship with Dj D-Wayne spinning disks until the wee small hours and some singing with Danny Cox.
A shout out to APRA, the Australian Performing rights organisation. Using Skype on my newly acquired phone I was able to call them in the we small hours of KC time to ask obscure questions about song registration. Of course it was normal daylight hours back home but they managed to understand my weird 3am ramblings and occasional Ip telephony drop outs.
Roscoe almost dispatched yet another Bass Player until he realised he needed him for the Liquid Courage gig in two nights time.
Day 16. Geomancy
L&L hosted us once again. Louis has all but convinced me that Geomancy is real, the magic of certain places.
He aslo filled me in on the practical aspects of Aztec Human Sacrifice, but that's another story entirely.
KFFI
The wonderful Mr Jason Vivone invited us in to KFFI for a live song or two, here's Bill and Jo in the Green room (note it was just a green room)
I spotted this on the drive and my hopes were dashed when I found out it was a mobile phone dealer. Homesick for...cricket??...oh dear oh dear.
Rehearsing at L&L's - puppy optional
Theo and I took a wander out to review potential studios
Day 17 - Back at Knuckleheads
Nice day for it. See what I mean about us and the weather.

Vintage 70's Signage
Now I just noticed this. the night we played Knucks was also the 40th reunion for River Rock, playing in the outside bar. As we have just finished uploading our new song 'Rock River' as I blog this..oooh...SPOOKY!!..
It was great to see Pete S in good form and a big night was had by all.
Cheers to Frank and thanks to Carl for great sound all night.
Day 18 The Bon Ton Soul Accordion Band
D-Dawg took us to hear these guys, Solid, but not my thing. They're a legendary local at with a huge following
Supporting Liquid Courage at Slick Willys
Roscoes band 'Solid Gold Easy' pulled out of the gig we were due to support them at so Zico, Roscoe and Bill put together a new act entitled 'Liquid Courage' and we joined them for an evening at Slick Willys.
