What better way to play some mountain songs than by going to....err...Wagga! yes, thats right, our country triptych (?) continues this weekend with two gigs at the James Thomas Blamey in Wagga...or near wagga...in fact, its at Lake Albert.
Sundays gig will feature an acoustic set featuring some new material that we tried for the first time last week in Albury!.

Tomorrow night we're in Victoria...just the top most bit at Mt. Beauty, followed by two shows in Albury!
We'll be in Albury Mt Beauty, THEN Albury....for this weekend, starting Friday night at the Mount Beauty Country Club, then at the Astor hotel on Saturday night and a special acoustic set (plus some normal stuff) on Sunday at the Astor! We're 5 songs mixed, 7 to go, + a couple of fixes and oddments to sort out. For anyone curious as to the speed of progress, we're working 1 day a week at the moment (that's life folks).
Yesterday saw us mix High Cost of Lovin and That Smiles Not For Me. TSNFM isn't in the Live set yet and I'm having trouble with the bridge, so it might be time for a key shift (sigh)... Now a quick note for the iPhone peoples. Paul has gone iPhone bonkers to the point of playing various iPhone effects at the end of the track yesterday, which were spookily in tune with the melody. I have a feeling some of those effects (where copyright permits) will probably turn up on some recording...
