Announcing the start of the Stormcellar All Colours Blues tour of the USA
USA! USA! STORMCELLAR! STORMCELLAR! REPEAT A WORD! REPEAT A WORD!
Woot.
USA! USA! STORMCELLAR! STORMCELLAR! REPEAT A WORD! REPEAT A WORD!
Woot.
I am determined to get video of all the acts from our fundraiser up online before we head overseas.
This is one reason why. They're frickin awesome.
Michael Hawke has skills.
Once again, I find myself struck by the Six Degrees of Wanders Separation. Theo has played with just about every act on the bill.
was concentrating on Michael but Theo is playing off to screen right, once again demonstrating his almost infinite stylistic flexibility.
Bugger. I need a flow chart...
Thank you Mr Hawke.
I've been looking forward to posting a bit of this footage, two Stormcellar drummers (Tony is deputised when Theo is absent) who are also both Mal Eastick drummers (Mal has excellent taste).
What a great day this was.
Stil to come: Michael Hawke, Dave Tice and 3 Wise Men.
Thanks guys your support has helped to get us on the plane.
Howdy Folks.
TA Lyndon spotted this article in this weeks 'the Music'. Thanks Tezza.
Once again we bask in the backhanded compliments that are the uniquely Australian way of saying 'I Love You'.
Salty Dog described our new album as 'Weird.. But Good!' and now The Music has described us a 'Dodgy... but loveable!'
Australia, we love you too, and when we appear before the commission, we know how to keep shtum.
BTW we don't hate on the Hipster community. My bro has the beard and we're cool with it. Peace out. Totes.
Kicking off our All Colours Blues Tour with a great night at the Old Town Pub in Crestwood
We'll have the assistance of Paul Recht's new band, the Rhythm Roosters!
No kidding, this will be a big night. Hopefully not too big as we have a midday show the following day...
Aww..what the heck.
let's get into it!
I got a great bit of footage from the Mal Eastick band at our fundraiser.
Milena has a heck of a voice.
After a day with some worldwide sad news, it's good to take a moment and appreciate the stuff that makes life worth the living, like the class, soul and heart that these guys show, every time they play.
Thank you Mal, Milena, Tony and Stan.
