Sooo ... while Mike has been up north checking out the taste for Blues on the Gold Coast the rest of us lads sat down for an acoustic low-key rehearsal.

It's not something that we do very much so it's interesting to see how the songs sound without all the volume.

Much to our shock and surprise some of them really shone through - Merchandise ... Yamanote Line ... Can't Tax Love ... all had really nice vibe to them ... prepare to see us playing in cafe's and coffee houses and speakeasies shortly.

We've been deep in rehearsals with our two new members - Bill Crossland on bass and Theo Wanders on drums because ... well because we have a gig -

Life On Mars - Dust from one end of the country to the other

Greetz Ppplz! From one end of the country to the other, dust is settling in. The mars rovers are rolling past my window right now, looking a little confused. I'm on the Sunshine coast (HA!) and corresponding with MRose in Sydney. We're both shrouded in dust.

Thats a lot of coastline thats become a dustbowl...
I'm off to the local Blues Jam tonight, dust or no dust! and we're playing this weekend at the lansdowne hotel on Saturday night, Fremen get in free! (Mu'ad D'ib!)

Hi Folks. Howdy from Queensland! Hat fitz and Doc Span are playing around the traps up here where I am. The Blues is alive and well in the sunshine state. How can you have the blues in glorious shiny weather??

Right. Anyway, back in the premier State (beloved NSW, home of gangsters that scare even Melbournians). Stormcellar will be jammin at the Lansdowne Hotel this Saturday night, from 5-8pm, featuring as many guest muso's as we can round up! It's free, it's on city road in Chippendale (just off broadway) and ...err...that's about it. Hoorah!

We welcome Theo and Bill to the stormcellar crew!

Hi Folks.

We'd like to welcome two new members to the crew; Bill Crosslands on Bass and Theo Wanders on Drums & Percussion, as we bid farewell to our present rhythm section (who are moving on to bigger things!)

In particular, I am grateful to John Spasic for his support over the last six months and I look forward to seeing John and Mark in their new lineup!
